This is healthy for the industry. I understand IP is looking at buying all or some of Smurfit. Any truth to this?
Agree, the packaging segment has shrunken to very few producers and this is not good long term. The industry needs Smurfit-Stone to survive and become stronger. I too heard International Paper Company was looking at all or at least a part of Stone.
