Electronic Coupons on the Raise
Coupons that are now sent to an Internet address or a mobile devise are gaining in popularity. These are the fastest growing segment on redemption of coupons. On line product coupons increased 263% or 50Million from 2008. Perhaps, like newspapers, books and maybe magazines, printed coupons might start to decline with the cannibalism from electronic communication.

Everything electronic is increasing at a faster rate that the old school ink on paper!
Just reading today's update on this website on coupons, interesting that newspapers still have a commanding market position when it comes to coupons. I would bet the electronic version of coupons, as outlined in this release, will grow - at the cost of newspapers.
