Europe Also Reports Paper Shipments Fall

The Association of European Fine Paper Manufacturers announced a 23.3% decline, to 608,000 metric tons, in coated woodfree paper deliveries in March, as compared to the same period last year. Exports decreased by 41%. First quarter shipments were down by 27.3% and exports by 48.7%. Uncoated woodfree deliveries fell 10.1% to 506,000 metric tonnes. Export rates did not change.
