Paper Price Forecast for 2008

Because so many Canadian mills and several USA mills have shuttered production facilities and raw materials continue upward cost pressure; paper prices are forecasted to increase. Coated paper in particular is forecasted to increase 15% in first quarter 2008 and another 15% by midyear. Copy paper and papers for desktop printers will increase 10% in 2008. Printers will feel the additional cost increase from inks, forecasted to increase @10% in 2008.
