Thunder Bay Paper Mill Sold

The Cascades Paper Mill, once called Provincial Papers and owned by Abitibi was sold to a private investment company called Thunder Bay Fine Papers. The mill has been closed since early 2006 and will take @35million to start back up. The mill made 170,000 tons per year of coated book papers.

Just found this sight, and this information was posted early this morning, yet no comments were received up until now.
Considering how many folks in Thunder Bay have been waiting to hear this good news, it's seems obvious that this site is not well known. It hasn't shown up on any other sites that I'm familiar with. So should I believe what I'm reading? I certainly hope that it is in fact reliable info.

Very surprising that this news has not been made public yet. Perhaps it isn't accurate, heaven only knows how many families would be elated to hear the news.

This is quite old news. TBFP started produciton this past summer but is currently looking for $10,000,000 to go with the 45 already invested. If they do not get the money the operation will close.
As a potential seller of their prodcut I hope for that reason and more importantly, the area needs the employement. Will Ottawa help? That is to be answered
